Holidays

Jade is closed for two weeks over the Christmas period and is also closed on all NZ public holidays.

Special Features

We are close to the Public Library, Tourist Information Centre and local and national bus stops. Our staff are also happy to help organise out of school trips and activities.

Courses Offered

At Jade we offer the full range of courses, any of which we can adapt to suit your specific needs. You can join us on any Monday. On your first day you will sit a placement test to ensure we place you in the right class to meet your language needs. There is no minimum entry level. All fees are in New Zealand dollars and are GST inclusive.

Course Hours

Morning sessions: 9:15am - 12:15pm

Afternoon sessions: 1:15am - 3:15pm

General English

Part-Time - 15 hours

Classes run in the mornings leaving your afternoons free to experience NZ culture. You will be welcome to join in with our afternoon activities on a pay per session basis.

Full-Time - 25 hours

$350.00

For the serious English learner. This course is classroom based except on Fridays. On Friday afternoons classes will be adapted to provide you with opportunities to reinforce your new learning.

IELTS (Exam Preparation)
12 weeks minimum

$350.00

Once you have achieved an Upper Intermediate level of English you can join this course. We will help prepare you for the exams and arrange enrolment and practice with exam format.

This is the course for you if you would like an intensive burst of English and fun along the way. We have a large range of activities available, including:
