English language for their future needs wherever they may go.

Hamilton College of
English is a quality English School that specialises in ESOL
(English for Speakers of Other Languages). Hamilton College of English
is registered with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA).
However, it operates as an English School for students of all
disciplines. The College offers small friendly classes that
enable students to study in a comfortable, studious environment to gain
a level of English suitable to their needs, whether it be for
entry to a Tertiary Institution, for the workplace, for Immigration
purposes, or just for Interest. The Staff are well-qualified and from
many international backgrounds.

The course fee excludes a
textbook or study materials.
We will advise the students to buy a Textbook at the Teachers' request.

- Students must pay the required fees before starting
their course.
- The application and a student indemnification fees
are compulsory.
- Students who wish HCE to arrange their Home-stay
and/ or Airport pick up are required to pay a fee.
- Students who wish to extend their study are allowed
to apply for the discounted tuition fee above only if they inform the
College within 7 days after the starting day.

- Students who have enrolled in a course for less
than 3 months are not entitled to a refund of fees.
- Students who have enrolled in a course for 3 months
or more are entitled to the seven day refund policy.
- Refunds following withdrawal from study will only
be made to the students who enrolled with a proof of identity.
- Hamilton College of English will advise the New
Zealand Immigration Service that fees have been refunded. The official
receipt and Offer of Place document must be returned to the Hamilton
College of English before any refund will be made.
- Any refund of fees deducted by an agent will have
to be claimed by the student from the agent. Any commission paid by
the Hamilton College of English to an agent will have to be claimed by
the student from the agent. All refunds of fees made by the Hamilton
College of English will be from the net amount received by the College.
- Students who withdraw from study within the first
seven days will be refunded their tuition fee in full, minus
administration costs of 10% of the refund or $500.00, whichever is
lesser of the two.
- Students who withdraw from study after more than
seven days will not receive a refund. At the discretion of management,
students withdrawing due to special circumstances may receive a
proportion of their fees. The proportion refunded will be assessed on
a pro-rata basis, having regard to the teaching delivery costs
involved and the proportion of the programme which has been completed.
- Refunds only apply to tuition fees. All refunds of
fees made by Hamilton College of English will be from the net amount
received by Hamilton College of English. The application fee is
non-refundable.
- Responsibility for authorising refunds for any
students enrolled at the Hamilton College of English is delegated by
the managing director of the Hamilton College of English.
- If the student fails to meet the 80% Attendance
Requirement, the student will not receive any refund.

the local Goods and Services Tax (GST). Fees are subject to change
